Deon Tromp

CEO of Trustlink

Deon has 16 years’ experience in the banking and insurance industries in various strategic planning, enterprise value management, risk management and enterprise regulatory-focused data and IT project management capacities at executive level. He is a qualified advocate, a chartered financial analyst and a certified risk manager, with a keen interest in technology.

Dawie Fourie

Manager: corporate services

Dawie has extensive experience in central bank operations and business administration. His background includes 24 years at the South African Reserve Bank where his last position was that of operations manager of the information technology department. His responsibilities at Trustlink include finance, business administration services and internal operations. He is also company secretary.

Ben Van Der Merwe

Manager: hosting and technical services

Ben started his career at Telkom and over a period of 29 years held various positions in the IT and operational support space. He has a fundamental understanding of all components required to implement and manage an end-to-end solution. He is responsible for the planning, management, monitoring and execution of the Trustlink’s internal and external IT and IT-supported services, at an operational management level.

Phillip Grobler

IT architect

Phillip is an IT professional with a wide range of management and technical skills. He has extensive experience as solution architect in the analysis, design, development and implementation of complex systems and specialises in understanding the complex inter-relationship between disparate systems and designing solutions, that allows them to function in cohesion. Phillip is the key role player in all decisions regarding technology acquisition, deployment and customer solution offerings.

Andre Niemand

Business unit manager: SWIFT

Andre has more than 21 years’ experience in the financial services industry and 16 years’ experience working with SWIFT-related products and projects . His experience spans a range of disciplines, which most recently focused on the management of the Trustlink infrastructure and technical support teams including management of the design and implementation teams for multiple products and solutions. His current focus is to manage the SWIFT business unit and he is responsible for all aspects of this critical partnership.

Igmar Rautenbach

 Business unit manager: B2B

Igmar Rautenbach is an experienced chartered accountant, who completed his articles at Ernst & Young. He holds a CIMA qualification and a Masters degree in Taxation from the University of Pretoria. Igmar has held roles as financial manager and CFO in various industries, gaining exposure to both public and private entities in local and multi-national organisations. His skill set includes financial and management reporting, financial systems implementation, business valuations, corporate tax, mergers and acquisitions and business reorganisation. He is currently responsible for the management of the B2B business unit within Trustlink, which involves sales, operations and development.
