Mary Ann Callahan, the former president of the Americas’ Central Securities Depositories Association (ACSDA) and a colleague from the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), will be retiring at the end of May.
“Strate would like to bid farewell to a friend and colleague. As a member of ACSDA, Strate has had the privilege of working with Mary Ann. She has done an amazing job as ACSDA’s president over the last six years and we’d like to thank her for her leadership and guidance and wish Mary Ann the best,” says Monica Singer, Strate’s CEO.
According to Singer, Mary Ann has made a significant contribution to the CSD industry and ACSDA’s initiatives that enabled its members to gain a global view of the world’s capital markets.
The Americas’ Central Securities Depositories Association
Founded in 1999, ACSDA is a regional forum, engaged globally, whose membership spans 28 central securities depositories and clearing organisations in 30 countries in North, Central and South America, the Caribbean, as well as South Africa.
Strate would like to congratulate Jorge Hernán Jaramillo and Gerardo Gamboa, who were elected as ACSDA’s president and vice-president respectively at the recent ACSDA General Assembly in Guatemala.
