The Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD) hosted the 12th Conference of Central Securities Depositories from 29 May 2013 to 31 May 2013 in Saint Petersburg, Russia Federation.
Monica Singer presented on the CEO panel entitled Global Perspectives on the Future of the CSD Industry, as well as New Business Opportunities for CSDs, while Beverley Furman, Head of Supervision presented on the panel of Resolution and Recovery and as the World Forum of CSDs (WFC) Secretariat, Tanya Knowles, Head of Corporate Affairs coordinated the WFC meeting.
In future the CSD conference will be renamed the WFC Conference and the next event will take place in Cancun, Mexico in May 2015.
