Enhancing Industry Knowledge with Exciting new Content on Strate e-Tutor

With an increase demand for training requirements, and varying levels of understanding of stakeholders, Strate is constantly finding innovative ways to create new educational content that speaks to the masses. Its online, educational e-Tutor application is filled with new dynamic diagrams, infographics, video clips, podcasts and articles to easily explain complex processes and concepts.

 

For visitors who use the application to study towards their exams, Strate has tailored short on-line tests for each module and it has created new content such as a module explaining collateral management and a customised modules for our issuer clients.  Prospective compliance officers can enjoy the benefit of knowing that the qualifications have significant credibility on their CVs, given it is recognised by the Compliance Institute of South Africa and the Strate exams are internationally accredited through a professional body in the United Kingdom – the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI).

 

As the Central Securities Depository, Strate understands the importance of knowledge transfer to ensure it passes on crucial institutional memory to the next generation. While Strate has offered traditional training services to the market, the number of stakeholders trained has increased by significantly in the last five years and there continues to be a growing demand for further training.

 

Distance learning using web-based technology is the future. Since Strate e-Tutor was launched during October 2014, there are an average 200 users a month, 45% of which are returning to the site and 55% are new. Some clients have informed Strate that they are using e-Tutor to educate their clients and employees in their organisation.
